Your Love and Support
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote how blessed we are to be a part of God’s story in Allendale. But I neglected to mention a very important part of His work here.
I especially thought of our financial supporters at the end of last year. You see, most of our financial supporters give through Grace Church. And at the end of the month, we receive a report of everyone who gave on our behalf, and a total amount donated.
When I looked at the report from December, I was shocked. Besides over two dozen regular supporters, there were eight additional families that contributed to us (and to God’s work through us) in just that month. In fact, every month we are blessed with a few “surprise” donors.
For everyone who has donated on our behalf, know that we are thankful and honored to partner with you in God’s work in Allendale. You are just as much a part of His story here as we are.
But financial support is not the only way that many have shown us love.
Perhaps you have prayed for us. We love you for that, and we thank you for lifting us up to our Father.
Perhaps you have sent us an encouraging note, or left a comment on this blog (hint, hint), or shared any blog post (hint, hint, hint — just use the little buttons below this post). We love you for that, and we appreciate you taking the time to do so.
Perhaps you have come down to visit us, or visited us more than once. We love you for that, and we are energized by your sacrifice.
And some of you have done all of that: donated, prayed, encouraged, and visited. We love you for that, and . . . And I don’t have any words to fully explain how it makes us feel.
Whatever you have done, know that you have been a part of God’s story and our adventure in Allendale.
And though our season in Allendale is coming to a close, it’s not to late to be a part of God’s story here. You can:
- Give financially
- Pray for us and for Allendale
- Leave comment or share a post (DO YOU REALLY NEED MORE HINTS?!?!)
- Visit us, such as for our Spring Break Camp
We love you. Thank you for loving us.
