Comedy vs Drama
A study out of Spain counters the idea that only the elite enjoy theater. Turns out that people in the “working class” and “intellectual class” also enjoy it.
The difference is that the working class enjoys comedies, and the intellectual class enjoys dramas. (The wealthy are swayed more by reviews than by style.)
Putting this together with our Allendale community . . . I would classify most of Allendale as “working class” (or equivalent, considering the 25% unemployment rate), and there are no shortage of “class clowns” around here.
Now it makes sense why our Sender the Entertainer fits in so well.
