Who Let These Dogs Out?

I already let you know how we saw God blessing the Elevate Soccer Camp in Allendale over spring break. But I thought you’d like to see some visual images. Here’s some pictures from the week.

We opened each day with warm up drills.

And also had some scrimmages.

Austin showed her skills by stealing the ball from Wayne, a USC-Salk soccer player.

We had nutritious meals and snacks (all on donated money and volunteer cafeteria staff),

Which coincided with a daily nutrition class by Karissa (local Clemson extension agent).

Gym time was a hit, especially during the afternoon heat.

Lots of new friendships were formed.

Almost 30 students and 6 leaders took went on the bus trip to Charleston. Sender took a nap.

A twenty-minute traffic stoppage because of Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade in Charleston.

At a park for play time and Chick-fil-A for dinner.

Getting ready for the Riverdogs game.

Though the tickets were donated, we made up for it with all the souvenirs that were purchased,

And with popcorn, peanuts, and cotton candy (so much for those nutrition classes).

Two girls (who were not feeling well) kept warm under my jacket. Cotton candy helped them perk up.

And, finally, I don’t know how our group did not make it on the jumbo-tron. These cheerleaders cheered and sang loudly almost the entire game, and I had the pleasure of sitting right in front of them.

Thanks for checking out these pictures. If you liked them, be sure to leave a comment and/or share this post with others (you can use the buttons bellow to make it easier). Also, you can check out more pictures on Facebook.
